Photo contest

The RBSS is happy to announce a new initiative being a photo contest. The chosen topic is in relation with the general theme of the BSW, being “The expanding Universe of Surgical Technology”.

Deadline for submission: 15^th April 2018

Two prizes: one attributed by the RBSS’ Board and one by the public.

Football Match

Thursday 3^rd May 2018 at 6.30 p.m. on the beach in front of the Thermae Palace Hotel.

Game between surgeons and sponsors.

Don’t forget to register yourself via the site for this friendly football match between the congress’ Sponsors and the Surgeons.  Fun and laughter guaranteed!

Surgical Night.

Dinner Thursday evening, during which different titles are rewarded, followed by a disco evening in the presence of the renowned DJ Simon LeSaint. Registration for the dinner is compulsory through registration.

For those not be able to attend the dinner but wishing to participate in the disco evening, tickets will be available at the registration desk on Thursday 3^rd May 2018.

Inter-University Cup.

Whether you are part of a participating team or a supporter, do attend the first edition of this contest on Friday 4^th May 2018 at 4.30 p.m. Teams of the 7 different univeristies will compete against each other. Come and support your favorite team and colleague trainees! 

This event will be followed by the Farewell drink.

The RBSS is happy to announce a new initiative being a photo contest. The chosen topic is in relation to the general theme of the BSW, being  “The expanding Universe of Surgical Technology”.

Rules

• This photo contest is open to surgeons, nurses, trainees.
• Participants do not need to be members of the RBSS, but should be part of the groups as indicated above.
• Evaluation will be based on quality, originality and conformity with the proposed theme.
• Written authorisation of any recognisable person is mandatory.
• Black/white or colour snapshots are allowed.
• No visible company name or label on the picture is allowed
• Each participant authorizes the RBSS to use the submitted picture to promote the contest in the future, with discharging the society of request for permission of reprints. The RBSS commits itself to mention the author’s name on the picture and to saveguard non-commercial use of the pictures sent, where the final rights on the picture(s) stay with the author.
• Submission of a JPEG file, to be sent the latest by 15^th April to the RBSS at photobsw2018@rbss.be.  The RBSS will print the pictures all the same size and foresees exhibition space in the conference venue.
