RBSS meets BAST: surgical simulator training 2024The RBSS Education Committee is organising together with BAST their fourth 'RBSS meets BAST' training day. This year, again in the Wallonia part of our country and centrally located in Namur, again a combination of practical training sessions in general, visceral, vascular and thoracic techniques on Saturday will be the core of this exciting event. Registration is now open! Registration on a 'First come, first serve' base. Priority is given to BAST/RBSS block members, although non-members can register for this event also although under condition of synchronous registration for RBSS/BAST block membership.

BAST Medical Writing training 2024The RBSS Education Committee is proud to support BAST with their yearly initiative of the Medical Writing Course.
This year, again in the Wallonia part of our country but very centrally located in Namur, professor Abe Fingerhut will enlighten the participants in the secrets on how to interpret but also how to write a good scientific paper. The first part of the day will be reserved for defining the content of the ideal scientific article. During the second half of the day, during a practical workshop, one or more scientific works will be analysed as to apply the knowledge of the morning session. Faculty members of the RBSS will support this workshop to coach the participants. Registration on a 'First come, first serve' base. Priority is given to BAST/RBSS block members, although non-members can register for this event also although under condition of synchronous registration for RBSS/BAST block membership. From a practical point of view, this event will take place in the same venue as the Saturday's simulator training course. Participants of the RBSS meets BAST training on Saturday, willing to also participate in theis BAST Medical Writing course, have the possibility, free of choice, to book accomodation in the event hotel for 100,- EUR including a one night stay, breakfast, coffee breaks and a light lunch on Sunday noon included.
