« Free Paper », «Poster», «Videos » for the

   21st Belgian Surgical Week

 Dear Colleagues,

The 21st Belgian Surgical Week will take place in the Antwerp Elisabeth Centre (www.FMCCA.com), from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th May 2020.

The scientific theme of the meeting, suggested by the President, and approved by the full Board is

"OUT OF THE BOX"

Hopefully, this theme will trigger off many interesting programmes prepared by the affiliated societies and sections.

As previous years, the Thursday Presidential ceremony and the Friday Plenary session will be dedicated to the congress’ theme.

The ‘Trainer-Trainee’ clinical case session will of course be part of the programme. The selection of the cases will be performed by the BAST in collaboration with the Scientific Committee of the RBSS.

Besides these sessions Free Paper, video and poster programmes, not limited to the general theme of the congress, will be organised. Every topic is most welcome! Case reports will not be selected among the free papers.

Moreover, the possibility will be offered to submit a free paper, poster or video for participation in a special “Awards Session” honouring not only the best free paper, but also the best poster and the best video.

The rules will be published on the www.belgiansurgicalweek.be website.

The Belgian Surgical week is really important, not only for trainees, but also for every senior member of the R.B.S.S., giving all of us the opportunity to share her/his experience and offering everyone a good opportunity for discussion.

Please submit abstracts through the submission platform which can be reached by the following webaddress:

 www.belgiansurgicalweek.be

Abstract submission between 1st December 2019 and 31st January 2020 23:59:59 CET.

We thank you for your collaboration,

Sincerely yours,
